Aberdeen-based WACtheatre are an organisation set up specifically to produce new work and to create opportunities for writers and actors in North East Scotland, particularly around Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. WAC hold weekly meetings (WAC Wednesdays) to bring together playwrights and actors based in Aberdeen and the Shire to read plays and discuss how they can be developed.
The team responsible for running WAC are Joint Artistic Directors Suzanne Enoch and Colin Garrow as well as the company's latest recruits - Theatre Development Workers Jessica Hernández and Louise Ballantyne.
